New Instructor = New Classes!
I would like to take a moment to introduce our new Hip Hop instructor, Nicole Doucette.
Nicole has been dancing since the age of 4. She started with a Ballet class, and went on over the years to take classes in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Pointe and Breakdancing. At age 13, Nicole became an assistant dance teacher in Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop classes. She continued dancing and assisting classes until she graduated high school in 2013. At this point, she went on the University of Hartford to study Elementary and Special Education. Determined to keep dance in her life, Nicole danced on her college's Hip Hop Dance Team. She had the opportunity to choreograph and teach routines to her peers. She also began teaching Zumba classes at the University. Over the years, she has participated in several dance conventions where she took classes from well known choreographers. Nicole graduated this past May and is now working as a 3rd grade Special Education teacher. Nicole is extremely excited to be a part of Mitchell's!! (and we are extremely excited to have her!!)
Nicole will be teaching our Middle School and High School Hip Hop classes on Thursdays.

Zumba is a GREAT class and allows you to have a fun time as you get your heart pumping, blood flowing and help to drop those extra pounds that you didn't lose over the summer! Bring a friend and make it even more fun!! The class will run for an hour and will be geared to adults (but High Schoolers will be welcome as well). The cost will be $48.00 for six weeks of classes (9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18 & 10/25). If you prefer, you may pay by-the-week at $10.00/class.
