A poll: Who is interested in taking class?
Hello Everyone,
I hope all of you are doing well and enjoying these lazy, hazy days of summer. We have missed you at the Studio. Although we don't want summer to end, it's time to start thinking about what this Fall may entail. We would like to take a poll on who would be interested in taking class. We need more information numbers wise before we make any final decisions. Please read the following specifications of what dance classes will entail and let me know if you are interested in taking class with us this dance season.
According to Governor Baker, Phase 3 of reopening businesses has been in effect since July. This phase included fitness centers such as our Studio. As of right now, we have only been opening our doors on Tuesday nights for the Adult Ballet and Jazz classes.
The Studio has been taped out into six foot individual squares. During class, we have asked that you remain inside this box for the duration of the class. If you are taking more than one class, you must stay in the same square for all classes. These boxes are to help secure social distancing regulations, especially while dancing. Facial masks are required when social distancing of 14 feet can not be obtained while dancing and 6 feet when not dancing.
Upon entering the Studio, there is a hand sanitizer station located at the bottom of the stairs. We as that you utilize this station when both entering and exiting the Studio. We have designated the waiting room door as the entrance and the smaller "A frame" door as the exit. Individual hand sanitizer bottles and disinfectant wipes are available to sanitize any high touch surfaces such as chairs, railings and door knobs. The bathrooms are closed. Please consider this before entering the Studio. We ask that only the students taking the class enter the building. No visitors are permitted. There will be the correct number of chairs as registered students spread six feet apart to place your personal belongs and street shoes. We ask that you utilize only one chair per student and maintain your distance.
There will no longer be any drop-in classes. Students must pre-register before each class to ensure a space in the class. Registration can be done through our website or simply send us an email. Due to social distancing restrictions no more than six students have been allowed per class.
With all that being said, please let us know if you are interested in taking dance lessons with us this dance season. Once we have a better idea of what the need/want is, we can begin the process of final decision making.
